Admissions
The Local Authority coordinates admissions to all Primary, Infant and Junior Schools in Derbyshire.
This includes children with disabilities and in local authority care.
Essentially the Authority acts as a ‘clearing house’ for all admissions and enables parents to express a preference for one, two or three schools and to place those preferences in rank order.
If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 your child will be eligible to start school in September 2025.
You'll be able to apply from 9am on 11 November 2024.

The results of your application will not be available until 16 April 2025 - Offer Day, and will be provided by the Local Authority.

Our published admissions number (PAN) for 2025 - 2026 is 20 pupils.
Parents are welcome to contact the school and Miss Kirk is very happy to show you round and answer any questions.
The majority of our children transfer to Crich Junior School. We have established transfer procedures between our two schools.
These include:-
- Discussions between teaching staff of both schools.
- Children’s visits.
- Parent’s meetings.
At the end of the Junior School, children usually move to one of the following three secondary schools.
